What Made the Wee Come Out?

At the 18.23 minute mark the guys tell us what made the wee come out.

Simon found a game called "Exploding Kittens" on KickStarter. The people that made this have raised nearly $9millon for a game that costs $30 and there have been 219,382 backers. Incredible! Check it out.

Simon's thoughts on this are that having a large following is pretty powerful. In order to build your audience, you need to share the stuff that you do in an authentic way. Experiment and see what works. Who knows, you might be sitting on a gold mine if you would only execute!

Grow Your Business With "Who" Not "How"

Strategic coach, Dan Sullivan, explores this concept in his podcast. He says that too many entrepreneurs find themselves stuck for two reasons:
1. They don’t trust employees to do meaningful work in their business.
2. They don’t understand how collaborating with “competitors” can be a real game changer.

So if you're trying to solve a problem in your business, ask "who" not "how". It will save you a lot of time. Join groups, network and collaborate with other freelancers who are natural problem solvers. This will mean that instead of wasting hours on trying to figure something out – you can get the correct answer and get it straight away.

Drift Live Chat

Simon has been using Drift Live Chat and is getting good results just by having conversations with people on his website. He has also implemented this on his client's websites who have given him great feedback.

It's basically a live chat that pops up when someone is on your site. There’s a free version that you can implement on your website so that you can have conversations with visitors and increase your conversions.

Troy asks how this is different to Intercom and Simon tells us that it’s the price difference. Intercom is quite expensive. We are using it at WPE so Troy is looking for an alternative. Let us know what you're using in the comments below and what you think of it!
